When mounted properly, this is a great two-in-one shower necessity. The grab bar function of this item is as good as they come - rock solid (when mounted properly). The shower nozzle works great and it's so nice that the bar holds it so well, especially that the holder slides (and yet locks) so easily, wherever you want it on the bar. The only caution is that you REALLY need to mount it properly - anchoring it into a stub or into solid backing. If not, it could be dangerous to depend on it. I am confident that it's mounted right (even in our fiberglass shower) and we couldn't be happier.

Excellent product. It is a great help for my son who has a disability. When installing, we made sure that it is attached to the stud inside the wall, so it rock-solid and safe.

Writing this review one year of use. Shower head has multiple modes — all of them working like a charm. The water pressure is good. The shower head on the bar is holding well. The finish is sleek enough for the water to not leave any stains. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Solidly constructed, and safe to have as a grab bar in the shower

The sliding mechanism is plastic and seems a bit flimsy but it functions flawlessly. The grab bar is sturdy and strong if installed correctly.

I installed this for my mom with Parkinson's. Her tremors are constant and pronounced, she had little difficulty using this. She can adjust the spray and height without trying to hold the sprayer itself and it is so much easier for her. The bar itself is very stable, easy to install and no problems with leaks or pressure. I did it myself in less than an hour, most of that time was trying to get the stud finder to work! Great product.

Great quality, better water pressure

This is an excellent addition to our shower. It works well. Installation requires some basic skill in drilling holes in ceramic tile. There is a special drill bit for drilling tile. The unit must be anchored into something solid. With that said, it is an excellent product.

One of the best shower heads I've installed. Serves as a sturdy grab bar and multi position head. Remember to remove the California restriction for maximum pressure.

Very surprised by the water pressure even with 1.8 gallon restrictor. The pressure mode on this wand is very good. Works better than even the ones I got from costco at a higher price

Also grab bar is all steel and very sturdy. The dock holding the shower head has clickable angles when rotated. Makes it easy for it to hold the angle as well. Very pleased with this surprise find.

Exactly what we were looking for! Very nicely built and the adjustable shower head mount is very easy to use. That was definitely a concern when we were ordering it for my dad. The only negative thing I can say is that the little rubber seal on the screw covers rolled out of position. I would put a little dish soap on the bar to help them slide easier and not roll off the cover. It's a nice solid handle too for him to pull himself up.

This is a handle support with a shower mounted to it. Works great and has great settings on shower head.
Grab bar has helped me more than expected.

I love the way you can set the height of the shower head wherever it works best, all while adding safety to our bathrooms! We like them so much we are hoing to add them to our other bathrooms as well. Well designed. Easy to install.

I'd prefer that the actual wand of this shower head were made of brass or stainless. It's ABS plated with an oil-rubbed bronze faux finish. That said, it is a solid build for a plastic unit. The rest of the thing is metal, except of course for the pressure hose inside the flexible steel hose cover. And the rail is a real ADA-compliant rail, which you may find handy.
We chose this unit for my son, who struggles with baths and showers due to autism-related challenges. Being able to control the water, he's much more apt to keep himself clean and groomed. In that respect, this unit has been a game changer for him. The multiple settings are also nice. I've also found out that it's a comfortable, safe, and efficient way to bathe a baby. I don't know why wands aren't more common in new homes, considering the advantages.

Was easy to install - nice to throw out the old one.

very nice shower pressure, you have choices for gallons per minute (they include removable/replaceable (or not) limiters). With no limiter the strongest stream hurts (but really cleans the walls well). The 'rain' setting isn't my for me, but it does a nice job of a misty rain. The handle/head is easy to hold and control. The hose is long enough. But that is a tough one, too long of a hose and it get caught up with the faucet, to short and it is a waste of design; for me this length is just right. Very solid handle-bar (real ADA safety bar) installs with 4 screws at each (of the two) anchor point [8 screws total]. I wish the bar was longer. A 1/4 of the bar is up higher than a normal safety bar would be installed so that the shower head is up at least as high as if mounted on the pipe (therefore the bottom of the safety bar is up higher than a normal safety bar install (not a big deal, just a detail). Very good equipment for the price.

Works and looks really good I love it.

This review is only for the bar and shower holder. I am not using the showerhead or the hose that came with it. I am using the showerhead and hose that was already in mom's shower. It fits just fine in the holder (lucky me).
The bar was easy to install and it is sturdy as I was able to go through the tile and into a stud.
The BEST part of all this is how easy the showerhead holder is to adjust. To move it up and down the bar, you just have to grab the showerhead holder and lightly squeeze the side not holder the head. My mom has arthritis, and she has no problem moving it up and down. The side that the showerhead fits into does tilt, though that part takes slightly more effort (I consider that a "plus" as I wouldn't want mom's showerhead to droop down on it's own).

This is a very nice all in one unit. The slide on the bar works great and the handheld also works well but it just doesn't match that well. Also nice long hose thats very flexible but again just doesn't match other brush nickel. I am keeping it though i thought everyone should know if that is a deal breaker for them.

The grab bar is substantial and sturdy. The slide & shower head are plastic and seem fragile and it only has two patterns of spray. I simply used the old spray head. The slide adjustment works well and it stays locked in place.
