This has two settings - a rain setting and a garden hose setting. I like how wide the spray area is for the rain setting. It covers my entire body with room to spare. It moves enough (up/down/left/right) to make adjustments for direction if needed. The second "garden hose" (which really does come out like a garden hose) setting put enough pressure on you, but make sure you turn town the water temperature - for some reason it "holds" in some of the warmer water, and when you switch it to the garden hose setting you'll get blasted with hotter water than expected.
One thing I didn't like is the water pressure for the 2.5gpm version. It's too light for my taste. I know this is supposed to mimic rain, but a basic no-name shower head running 1.5gpm can give more pressure on it's normal setting than this can. I'm guessing they are able to advertise it as high pressure based on the garden hose mode, but why sell two different versions? Unless there's something I'm missing, it works fine, but it needs more pressure.
Note: I like my showers to have pressure like a fire hose, so this may or may not be for you.
